The charts below give information about world spending and population

The first pie chart provided indicates the difference in world consumption on food, clothing, housing, transport and other items. And the second chart compares the number of people populating in the variety of continents.

It is evident that Food represents the largest part of world expenditure and the majority of world population allocates in Asia, the population of which outnumbers that of the rest of the world by 3 to 2.

Regarding to the first chart provided, Food is responsible for nearly one-fourths of the overall spending around the world which is higher compared to transport and housing, with 18% and 12% respectively. In contrast, there is just a minimal portion of merely one in twenty (6%) being expensed on clothing and the remaining 40% is consumed on a variety of other items.

Moving on to world population, the bulk of humans in all over the world comes from Asia, at 57% which is far much larger than the percentage in Africa, with only 10%. The inhabitians of Europe and Americas constitute the same share (14%) in the total
