One of the prime times for advertising on TV is when children get back from school. Some people think that advertisements aimed at children should not be allowed. What is your opinion?

Many advertising companies tend to broadcast their advertisements aimed at young children when they get back from school. I believe detrimental children's advertisements should be prohibited outright, while those good ones should be encouraged and expanded.

It is crucial to ban all harmful advertisements for youngsters completely. In terms of violent advertisements, they may harm children's perceptions and lead to wrong behaviors toward other people. Since young children are vulnerable and susceptible to underlying detriments, those toxic advertisements reinforce their wrong thinking strongly. Moreover, in recent times, more and more advertisements for unhealthy products are on air on prime times on TV. Products containing additives, unhealthy snacks, you name it, which are being advertised on a large scale and without being censored, can result in the growth of children's consumption and money spent on such useless things.

Children's advertisements having a good purpose and content should be promoted in a far-reaching way. In the era of technology, many customers go shopping via online advertisements. Therefore, if good advertisements like medicine or milk powder can approach children's mothers, they could have a better choice for their sons and daughters without spending a little effort. Furthermore, a good children's advertisement can transfer a valuable meaning and children can learn from it. For example, the advertisement about children's safes would encourage young children to take up a good habit which is accumulating money and spending it wisely.

In conclusion, I suppose that the government should strictly censor all the advertisements broadcasting on mainstream, not those for children only to avoid potential pitfalls. Besides, positive advertisements should be encouraged to approach a wider range of consumers.
