Some people say that is wasteful to spend time in class on teaching good handwriting because it is unnecessary in today’s world. How far do you agree and disagree?

Some state that it is time-consuming to teach penmanship in the school curriculum as it is no longer in demand in society as large. Other, myself included, argue for good handwriting hold overwhelming benefits for both readers and authors.

There are legitimate grounds to think that writers stand to greatly benefit from quality penmanship. First, good handwriting needs to take time to continuous practice and attention which leads students toward creativity and positive attitude. Equipped with beautiful penmanship, in all probability, they feel confident and be in a strong position to express their thoughts in an organized way. Second, quality penmanship develops hand-eye coordination which flexibly transfers to other skills such as painting. By early trained this skill, pupils would stand a chance to boost mental abilities at a higher level so that handwriting teaching in school is not be undermined.

Good handwriting skill, however, has great value for readers could not be underestimated. Handwritten knowledge represents the uniqueness of the writer’s personality which increases the value of message conveyed to the audience. When a person reads beautifully handwritten note, they would feel the respect of the givers and the information transmitted is more interesting than ever. Furthermore, the style of penmanship enhance the one’s mark in academic examination. For example, legible penmanship is critical for getting high band scores on the writing section of IELTS exam which is certain situations in life demanding authors have good graps of handwritten skill.

In conclusion, there is still have a scope for good handwriting in society these days. I strongly agree with the belief that teaching penmanship in a class learning center is important because of its productive and creative merits.
