In the past, most people used to travel to their place of work. With increased use of computers, the internet and smartphones, more and more people are starting to work from home. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this development?

In recent years, the development of technological devices which lead to working at home has become increasingly popular throughout the world. However, it is true that this trend has both advantages and disadvantages and I believe that the pros far outweigh the cons.

On the one hand, changing the place to work from company to home is disadvantageous because of the following reasons. In terms of individual issues, the main negative aspect is that it is quite difficult for people to gain the mutual understanding among colleges in the online environment working to complete their job in the best way. Moreover, having less opportunities for the people who new post-education to gain knowledge and practical experience from their leader when do not direct-working together. Another downside is that, if people have to go to our company by certain vehicles, these traffic means will emiss into the atmosphere toxic gas, which could able to unwell affects both mental and physical of humanity, and even environment.

On the other hand, notwithstanding aforementioned drawbacks, I would argue that these negative problems are overshadowed by the benefits. One obvious advantage of working at home is convention, employees easily have access to their work based on a private computer via connecting the Internet at their home without going to enprise. By this I mean, these people could effectively solve their work by getting needed-data into their computer and working with this information to offer a good result. A further upside is that, in particular, in the coronavirus pandemic, citizens need to limit the number of times they travel on the street or in a social place because of infection extremely easily with more and more dangerous variations of the virus regardless of getting fully vaccin. In fact, some company activities after lockdown, the astonishing number of patients infected this virus have been increasing significantly, which have a negative effect on the economy and health of the dwellers of a nation. So, working at home is very safe and necessary in this contemporary period.

In conclusion, it seems to me that the potential positives of this trend are more significant than the possible negatives because of the above reasons.
