Many people think modern communication technology is having some negative effects on social relationships. Do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, the development of technology is growing faster and faster create many modern attractive devices and it makes people depend on it. I believe that there are lots of bad impacts on our relationships cause by contemporary interaction technology.

It can be argued that online contacts have drawbacks to our community in many ways. Firstly, the internet lets anyone communicate with each others easiest then ever before which make people almost active online and can be addicted. For example, it is common to see a group of family or friends stay together but just focus on their smartphones. Moreover, many people who we add friends on social media like Facebook, Instagram or Twitter are mainly strangers so we do not know clearly about them. Many teenagers have problem with strangers online such as cyber bullying, abuse or even prostitution.

In addition, network environment occur lots of activities seem simple but cause dangerous consequences. If people immerse in the internet, they could do some actions which is thoughtless can damage others and have bad effects to their life. Last but not least, spending too much time online make people have lest time to interact face to face and the relationships can easily broken.

To conclude, there is no doubt that new communication methods have been improve better and helpful to our life. However, in my opinion, the domination of technology has bad influences and will destroy our social relationships if we keep depend on network and do not seriously manage it.
