The chart describes the various trends of use to technology devices at home in the UK from 1996 to 2003.

It is generally seen that CD player led the group with 60 percent in 1996/1997. Home computer and Mobile phone was the second and third most prevalent modern technology at this time.

In the following stage, Internet began to join in the media group with 10 percent in 1998/1999. Over 6 years period, position of four equipment was not change and showed an increasing trend. In which, CD player was the most common in 1998/1999 to reach a highest point at 82 percent in 2002/2003.

Overall, apart from some fluctuations in the percentage of Mobile phone access, there were upward tendencies in use of technology equipments. UK people tend to access CD player more than other devices. Meanwhile, Internet was new technology so less local people use during this period.
