The bar chart decribes the number of hybrid vehicles which were sold in the world from 2006 to 2009.

In 2006, the global sale in US led the vehicles market with 250.000. The figure continued to rise by 100.000 in the following year. After that, although there were a slight decrease in sale in the years 2008 and 2009, the numble of means sold still rose in comparison with the first year.

Meanwhile, although the Japan sale of hybrid means was 5 times lower than US's in 2006, it showed a noticeale growth over 4 years. From the country was the lowest in sales, approximate 50.000 vehicles, Japan's sale went up and peaked at over 300.000 means in 2009. Also, Japan was become country with the highest sale of hybrid vehicle.

In general, there was an upward trend in sale of means which use both fuel and electricity around the world in 4 years. In which, Japan and US were 2 countries which had significant increase in sale in comparison with others.
