In the competitive labour market, many students after leaving university have to find the most suitable job for themself. In order to be truly employable, the students from many top universities especially the educated person, should be able to desmonstrate not just knowledge but also the ability to work independently in teams. That leads to teamwork skills. In my opinion, teamwork can best be encouraged and assed in educational settings to the following way.
To begin with, teachers should assign group projects on suitable and interesting topic. For instance, students could be asked to team up to look up information and present about bubble milk tea's positive and negative impacts on our ives. In my opinion, while working together to investigate informations on topic such as above, students will have opportunities to use criticial thinking skills to have exalted and multimensional discussions. However, other students rely on and don't support their idea to team. That won't improve teamwork skills
To deal with that, teachers may ask each group to keep a study journal, which would be submitted to them periodically. In details, this journal should include updates regarding each member's findings, of which contents are related to their assignment on a daily basics. In addition, this also allows team members to compare their own contribution with others and encourage them to complete the tasks they are assigned with.
In conclusion, there are several ways to create comfortable and steady environment on which students's teamwork may grow better, but the effectives ones with practical tasks and tools that permit timely acts of motivation and self-reflection.
