Hello teachers,

This is not an academic essay. It's just a story or a paragraph that I wrote it to practice using prepositions and verb tenses. Please, check it for me and give me your feedback. Thanks in advance.

One day, while I was walking in the garden, where the sky was blue and weather was nice, I came across a big tree. Its green branches were forked all over. I stand against its stem. When I lifted my head above, I found a small birds' nest. The distance was not that high from me. In addition, the nest was not built well. It was built from a few thin tree woods that crossed each other carelessly. Obviously, It was not constructed in a perfect way. I could see clearly through those nest's holes. There was a single egg inside. It was for a certain type of pigeons. I thought to myself:" If that an egg hatched, there would be a high possibility for the baby to fall from such a nest".

After a moment, it crossed my mind that removing the egg from the nest would be better. But I needed a small ladder to reach there. But then, I immediately thought, it would be something mean to do, especially that I didn't know how long the pigeon spent setting on it. Ultimately, I just moved on.

After about two weeks, coincidentally, I came across the same position. To my surprise, I found a small baby bird lying on the ground. How poor!

I could tell that it came from that egg. I highly supposed it, because there was no any other nest over the tree. At that moment, I wish I had removed that egg from the tree. After that, whenever I came across there, I still saw the mama pigeon came back and forth to the tree. She was still living there. I thought to myself: "Now she must have learnt a lesson. She must have realized that she had spent many days setting on that single egg and the result was extremely unfortunate. Now, she must have known that her nest needs reconstructing. The location of the nest was not good either. She definitely must have realized the reason now."

Not so long from that incidence, while I was walking in the same spot, I went under the same tree. I looked up. I saw the exact same nest on the tree without any sort of modifying. And through the big nest's holes, there were 2 eggs laid in there!
