The pictures delineate the comparison between future project of Islip ( a town central) with the present. As can be seen from the images, it is clear that radical differences will be occured in this area such as the present of new bus station and the disappearance of main road.
At the present time, there are two shops locating between the main road. On the north of the road, there is suburb area. On the other side, school and a large park is constructed. Between school and the park, there is a large place for housing.
Futher transfromations could be seen in the future plan for Islip. Both the countryside and shop near by will be knocked down to make a way for bus station, shopping center and car park. Moreover, new housing areas will be added beside the car park and opposite the park.The school is expected to be bigger and the park will be smaller according to the future plan. On the south, housing area and shops will be remained. In the project, the main road will be replaced by the pedestrian. Additionally, a huge dual carriageway covering all Islip will be built.
