The maps indicate the developments occurred in Melvin IsLand 2000-2010

It is clear from the map that the biggest change that happened was the construction of the Marina. Additionally, in 2010, the golf course was built in the area of the farmland.

In 2000, motel and garages were located at the northwest area of the city. However ,in 2010, it was demolished to make a way for hotel and Chalets. The city experienced another change from the woodland in the north of the village. It was replaced completely by the golf club. Moreover, at the center of the city lies a farmland but it was replaced by swimming pool and spa in 2010.

Another striking change is that the woodland, which was located beside the river, became smaller. A part of the area was chopped down and replaced by the airport. Moreover, seafood restaurant was built in a place of tea rooms. Finally, the village near the river still remain in 2010.
