1. What do you think is a good method of teaching (refer to unit 1.6)? (About 75 words)
All the methods presented in unit 1.6 are all very useful in teaching and there are also some more good methods used in different levels of English classes .However, a good method of teaching, which I think, is that it should be interesting for students, it should cover all the language skills and it should give students opportunities to reproduce knowledge acquired from teachers. Although there are many differences between good methods, every method ought to have these three elements in order to become a good method

Which qualities do you think are important for a successful teacher?
Communication between students inside a classroom is a vita element for conducting a successful English class. Generally, the difference between age, culture and personality is the key reason why students do not want to communicate with each other. As an English teacher, he/she should extend their thinking outside the classroom to solve these kinds of problem. Take my former English teach as an example, he was the main teacher of my advanced English class. At the beginning of that semester, the students in my class did not want to talk to each other. It was very quiet for an English class. For solving this problem, my teacher conducted a trip for my class. We went to walk in bush and had a share lunch. It was proved that my teacher’s effect was worthwhile. Having enjoyed the trip, the students all found some thing in common with each other and they started making conversations inside the classroom. As a result, apart from the qualities mentioned in unit 1.4, the ability of conducting outside classroom activities is also a crucial skill for a good teacher especially for a good English teacher
