Relationships play an important role in our lives. People have conflicting opinions about the question of whether always telling the truth is necessary or no. Some of them believe that any relationships must be based on honesty, still others claim that lying from time to time will not affect the relationships at all. In this essay it will be demonstrated that the truth is actually the most crucial consideration in any relationship, due to the fact that it will make the relationships stronger and will benefit to the members of the relationship.
To begin with, the major advantage of telling the truth is the fact that the truth will consolidate the relationships. Beyond the shadow of a doubt, relationships based on trust, will last longer, moreover I believe that trust is the most important key to long-term relational success. This is due to the fact, that if you trust somebody you are extremely honest with him, you can reveal him any secret, you can talk with him about any topic that you are worried about and all of these, of course contribute to your relationships.
Second, I believe that telling the truth is quite beneficial for the members of the relationship. If A problem has occurred and you relationships are centered on trust you can easily discuss, analyze the problem and then together think how to solve it. After all, we must understand that lying, covering up facts about a situation does not change what truly happened. For instance, I am always honest with my parents and I always tell them if a problem has occurred in my life, after analyzing the problem with them I can find the right path and can solve my problem easier and with less frustration.
In conclusion, it was shown that the truth is vital for any relationship. Not only it will help the relationship to become stronger, but also will commit to the members of the relationship.
