Q-Leaders like John F kennedy and Martin Luther King have made important contributions to the people of USA.Name any world leader you think is important.Give specific reasons for your choice.
Ans-I belong from India and according to me the most important leader in the history of Indian Politics is Mahatama Gandhi,known as 'Bapu ji' in India.He was the epitome of non-violence and was the first person who started the non-ciolence movement in the entire world.He was the role model of many famouso leaders like Martin Luther King and many other leaders.Born and brought up in a state called Gujrat,he belonged from the upper rich strata of the society.But he left everythin,all the earthly possessions and started revolting against the Britishers with full blow.Always seen in just a piece of cloth that covered just his private parts.He pledged of not wearing full clothes till the time each and every person in the country won't be wearing one.He promoted the local handicraft industries and encouraged the people to use local manifactured goods so that the local craftsmen can flourish.He even promoted the use of 'charkha' among the people so they can sew they own clothes using a fabric called 'khaadi' which is cheap and as well as durable.
He played a mighty role in independence of India.With many meetings also known as 'Round table Conferences' with then then Governor-General of India i.e Lord Mountbatten ,he laid the foundations of yet to be independent India.He was always against the partition of the country but this was not under his control and he was deeply hurt when a part of India was divided in to Pakistan.
The most notable power of Mr.Gandhi was that he was way too strong intellectually.Always in support of non-violence,he never showed any aggressive behaviour even when he was beaten by wood logs or rods.He was determined about his dream i.e to have a independent India and he promoted the same feeling among the youngsters that one should always be focused about what they want to achieve in their life.
