Q. Describe a typical meal you would have for dinner.

My answer.

I usually eat a simple Korean dish, which is Kimbob for dinner. It is made from seaweed, a variety of vegetables and hams. It is very easy to eat and takes very short time to finish the meal. As I am a teacher, I don’t have enough time to go and sit in a restaurant. So I usually order Kimbob to my school.

Thank you very much!

"They are very easy to eat, so they do not take long to finish the meal." implies that the subjects (they) mentioned in the previous half of the sentence are performing the action on the meal. Your food would seem to be eating itself. I'm sure you don't mean that.

"They are very easy to eat, so they do not take long to finish the meal."

They are very easy to be eaten, so it does not take long to finish the meal.

is it better? thx for the quickest reply !!

"They are easily eaten, so it does not take long to finish the meal." sounds better.

Make it a habit of reading your sentences silently and aloud. Many sentences can be written to grammatical perfection and still sound cumbersome or odd when said aloud.

By the way, you're doing very well. Keep it up.
