Regardless of the overall increase in longevity in British during the last century, women still live longer than men. Until to now, there have been a lot of alternative reasons which have been suggested for this situation, for instance,the posibility is that men may die earlier since they take more risks. Neverthless, a group of British scientist have recently found out a likely answer called “T” cell in immune system which protect human from deseases, and women seem to have more “T” cell in their bodies than men with the same age. Scientists believe that this provides better protection to women from potentially lethal deseases such as pneumonia and influenza.
