Topic: Some people believe that it is good for students to have the same teacher for several years. Other thinks students benefit more from having new teachers each year. Which do you think is better? Give specific reasons to support your opinion.

My task:

In my opinion, students could benefit from having the same teacher for several years. To begin with, being taught by the same teacher for a period of time makes students accustomed to their teacher's method of teaching, and as a consequence, students can understand the lessons more clearly. For instance, when my sister was studying at a primary school, she was taught by the same teacher during her period at primary school. She was always on the top in her class as she understood what her teacher taught. However when she went to secondary school, each year she had to get used to a different teacher's way of teaching and her study result was rather low although she buried herself in the book. Besides, having the same teacher for a long time can also make the relationship between pupils and teacher more as they had many memorable events. In conclusion, I believe that being instructed by the same teacher for several years is instrumental in student study results.
