I received a call from John's father who wanted us to know what was going on with her son's application. He enquired if there was any possibility of settling his son's claim with the insurance company. I told her the whole process would take some time. He wanted me to provide him with further details. I said I would check to see if the manager was available to speak to her.

I then called her back to let her know that the manager was not available to talk to her. I told her there was no further update. I suggested that he contact the manager tomorrow to discuss his son's file. He then asked me an odd question "If we decide to cancel our application, will my son be able to get something from the insurance company?" I told him that I was not able to answer his question.
