I am writing to apply for a Ph.D. position at the IMPRS-MCB.
In 2010, I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Lab Technology; During my tenure, I had studied various subjects of Pathology extremely Clinical Biochemistry, Medicinal Microbiology and Pathology and allied sciences; I advance my academic studies in the field of Pharmachemistry by doing M.Sc. at the University of H.N.B. Garhwal. During the final year of my masters program, I became fascinated by this subject while completing my dissertation report on to examine, phytochemical constituents, including primary and secondary metabolites and antibacterial activity of Lindenbergia indica L. With a view to recommend their application in the pharmaceutical industry. In October 2013, I obtained a Master of Science degree, and I was placed among the topper of my batch.

With a major in Medical Laboratory studies as an undergraduate, and Master in Pharmaceutical chemistry I would now like to concentrate on a PhD in Epigenetics. I am particularly interested in Epigenetic Drug Discovery. In my studies toward a PhD degree, I wish to examine more closely the relationship between Epigenetics and its use in discovering new drugs. My M.Sc. dissertation has involved some combination of these subjects.
In regard to my extracurricular activities, I like playing Basketball, Kho-Chou and I am an athlete as well. I appreciate the value of the insistence, ambition and team spirit. I have learnt the commitment is necessary for success as an individual and how to work as a team member.

I want to study at Max Planck Institute because of your outstanding educational system, focus on gathering relevant work experience, and your excellent facilities. From speaking with students and professors from your university and other universities, I am confident about my decision. With many distinguished scientists as professors, I know that I will gain expert knowledge at the forefront of discovery. Further supporting professor's lectures or your university's use of advanced equipment and cooperation with top epigenetic focus. All these strong positives allow me to research and to pursue my dreams and ambitions.
