To whom it may concern,I would like to express my interest in the PhD position on numerical analysis ofnon-linear sound waves in faculty of science, Institute of Mathematics, Astrophysics and Particle Physics at ××× University.I have always been interested in interdisciplinary activities and real world problems. While studying for my MSc in Applied Mathematics supervised by Dr.

××× at ××× University, ××× branch in ×××, I have gotten acquainted with tstructure and function of electromechanical systems with one dimensional degree of freedom. Forasmuch as solving problems arisen in physics by mathematical algorithms appeals to me, I have read many articles employing mathematical techniques to solve problems in different subjects. Owing to this fact, I have gotten familiar with mathematical approaches in the physics problems, biology and another fields.

Hence, I am motivated to continue my education for PhD program in this field. I have always been interested in dealing with new challenges, and also doing new and updated research related to mathematical application in modern academic atmospheres. So, I have made up my mind to study abroad. By searching on the internet, I found this vacancy on ××× at ××× University. Since I have academic experience in numerical analysis, my purpose is to apply for research in a high rank university and a good and friendly Applied Mathematics research group.
