The purpose of writing this letter is the request that you consider my application for a university place abroad for the academic year 2007/2008 at the .



I am studying Business Administration and have finished the basic study in the last term. My major subjects are Communication Science, Marketing and Organizational and Social Psychology. At the moment I am attending basic courses in media and communication.



However I think that it is connotatively to emerge and to broaden one’s mind. For this reason I am actively engaged in the university club „***“ and the charitable organisation ***. And this reason also contributed to my decision on going abroad.



I have always placed emphasis on applying my theoretical knowledge in a real business practice. That’s why I took an internship at **** during the last semester break. This placement enabled me to experience the environment in a big international corporation as well as work on demanding projects. Therefore I could develope my teamwork and soft skills.



The term abroad seems like the perfect opportunity to learn more about the British culture and the advancement of the economics and the media of . In addition to it I would like to to meet other cultures, experience other educational system and enrich my curriculum vitae, as well as gain more independence. The is offering a wide range of courses in the space of the Department of Journalism Studies and the Department of Economics and appears to be the perfect complement to my education.
