Is this letter ok? Its important because Im trying to aply for a university in USA Program Director of Dramatherapy The Steinhardt School of Education 82 Washington Square East New York, NY 10003

Dear Mr. Robert Landy,

I' m Chilean Psychologist interestested in Dramatherapy Postgraduate training program. I read the program in the web page at it seems very interesting. I want to start the Drama Therapy program on September 2004. I would like to ask if you know some financial aid to foreign students for drama therapy studies in the New York University or other institution? I would like to know your email for faster communication.

Ww, it's quite common these days so I wouldn't imagine it to be considered rude (unless the person is in a v.senior position and/or busy etc.)

Ww, shouldn't it be Dear Mr Landy instead of Dear Mr Robert Landy??

Because you either use:

1. Dear Robert,
2. Dear Mr Robert Landy,

Another example:

1. Dear + first name: Dear Frank,
2. Dear + (Full name) Dear Mr Frank

Ohh I need your surname Frank to complete the sentence. Could you do that for me?
