Topic : You are studying English at a private language school attended by many international students. You are planning a surprise birthday party for a friend who has been feeling particularly sad and homesick. Write to another classmate and invite her/him to the party. In your letter:

Dear Sara,

I am writing this letter to invite you to a surprise party which I am planning to hold it this weekend. As you know, Jane is a new student and she has been studying in our school for two months. I talked to her yesterday. She was very sad. In addition, I found out that her birthday is on next week. So, I decided to hold this party and make her happy.

Jane's birthday is on next Sunday. But, she might be busy at this time. Therefore, I have to hold this party Saturday at 8 pm.

I talked to other classmates and we decided to help each other in this way. Thus, it would be better that everyone bring something for this party. We will need a CD player, some drinks and meals. I suggest to you bring a CD player, because we will need it so much.

I hope you can come to this party. Please let me know what your decision is.
