Task 2: The use of mobile phones should be banned in public places like libraries and shops. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
With the development of modern digital, the phone has played a crucial role in today's life. It is argued that using mobile phones in libraries and shops is likely to be unacceptable. I completely agree with this opinion and think that it is necessary.
First of all, I think that the restriction of phone usage in public places is appropriate. Because of the improvement of technology, people can easily access the internet anywhere. The phone is a key to searching for information but it distracts other people. For instance, if someone gets a phone call in the library, the noise when it rings will be loud, it either makes others can’t focus on their tasks or upset them. So that is the reason why the phone should be banned in public places.
Secondly, the mobile phone always distracts the user from reading or studying. For example, people want to get better through reading a book but by the way, they keep their phone beside them and today, the internet is easily accessible too, so people are obligatory for checking the messages and emails as well. As a result, they couldn’t concentrate on their work in a hundred percent. In contrast, those who don’t bring their phone with, also be motivated and attempted to do better.
To conclude, I strongly believe that mobile phones should be banned in public places because it makes people get distracted and can’t completely affect their work.
