The bar chart compared the proportions of three kinds of companies including small, medium, and large that were presented on social media for business purposes during the 4-year period from 2012.
Overall, the year 2015 recorded the disappearance of many companies of all business types. Additionally, large businesses are the most active and most consistent users throughout the surveyed period.
From 2012 to 2013, small companies saw a gradual increase in social media usage, from under 30 percent to around 35 percent, the rate of medium businesses also follow the same trend, going up significantly from the similar starting point to nearly 50 percent. At the same time, large companies made extensive use of social media, with the figures almost standing at under 80 percent.
After 2 years of growth, all types of business underwent a dramatic decline in 2015. The proportion of users of small and medium businesses reduced to the same rate, at 30 percent, while the figures of large companies dropped to over 50 percent. Nevertheless, in the next year, the rapid recovery trend could be seen in every kind of business.
