Please check my IELTS Writing Task 1

The given bar chart illustrates the proportion of women and men in one Asian country who passed their driving test from 1980 to 2010
Overall, the percentage of women who passed their driving test was higher than the percentage of men, some people said that this phenomenon happened because women drive more carefully than men. In 1980, the proportion of women who passed their driving test was nearly 50% meanwhile men only nearly 30%, the distance was over 20%. The next year is 1990, in this year, the distance between the proportion of women and men who passed their driving test was reduced by 10%. The percentage of the man rose by nearly 40% but the percentage of women had a slight increase of more than 50%. The year 2000 showed a significant rise of percentage both men and women who pass the driving test, however, the percentage of women peaked at nearly 70% meanwhile the percentage of men peaked at nearly 50%. Ten years later, the percentage of women who passed the driving test was decreased but trivial, however, the proportion of men was stay at the same
