Question: There is no longer enough natural resources to sustain current levels of economic growth. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Answer: Recently the demand for natural resources has risen dramatically across the world due to various factors including population growth. Some people believe that the natural resources are depleting swiftly with the passage of time. While, other disagree with the opinion. In this essay we will examine both issues and reach to concrete conclusion.

On the one side, some people state that the natural reserves are limited and the way we are consuming them shows in near future they do not maintain the economic growth and this will lead to many problems. According to researchers until 2050 the petrol will be run out same as various other such resources are also insufficient to meet human demands for a longer time period. Increasing population also create further issues as more natural resources are requires.

On the other hand, some people disagree with the above-mentioned perception and they believe that human dependency on natural resources will be reduce in future because the advancement in technology bring a lot of changes in routine life for example now usage of electricity car escalate and patrol consumption is reduced. Same as scientist also find other ways to produce energy including wind and solar panels so by doing this the burden is divides and it could not lead any problems.

In my opinion, although technology lessen the role of natural resources in our lives and it continuously progressing for betterment of human being. But all these concerns should put at one side and the governments should require to take solid steps to save natural resources as we do not accurately know about, they remaining storage and these reserves will directly affects our future generations as well. At international level all countries need to work together for this cause.
