Nowadays, some people argue that animals not only should not be exploited by people but also should have the same rights as humans. Besides, others believe that humans must employ livestock to meet their needs such as research and food. In this essay, I will share my own opinion on the conclusion.

Many people feel that we have to protect animals because this can distribute to the diversity of breeds and biodiversity. Furthermore, that is extremely crucial for global ecology and sustainable development. Then, the future generations will have the opportunity to see some animals in real life like the red-crowned crane. For example, in 1920, the Chinese tried to kill all the sparrows because of their wrong conceptions, as result, just a year after that event the crops in China were dramatically destroyed by insects. It partly led to ecological imbalance.

On the other hand, some people think that animals are inferior to humans and some of them rely on us as poultry and cattle. Additionally, the safety and effectiveness of newly developed drugs before pilot testing on small groups of patients. For instance, scientists use white mice for testing malaria and whooping cough vaccines. Their achievements have been saving a number of people who were suffering from those kinds of illnesses. In different circumstances, we use some of the animals for food mainly because of the nutrients on them, which are significantly necessary for human survival and development.

In conclusion, I strongly believe that we need to make sure whenever we use living things for testing new products that are guaranteed a minimum of suffering and treated as mercifully as possible. Likewise, we should only hunt animals for food, not for pleasure.
