This is the first time I've posted on this forum and also my first IELTS writing. I'm not good at some writing skills, especially paraphrasing and grammar, so I hope to receive constructive comments and useful feedback from you. Thank you in advance.

TASK 1: The bar chart below shows the estimated percentage of car trips taken by drivers in 2005.

The chart illustrates the estimated proportion of car trips taken by men and women for eight different purposes in 2005.

Overall, two genders used their cars mainly for work while cars were used at least for running errands and going to bank by men compared to visiting town by women. Furthermore, the most significant difference in the percentage of car trips between two genders was on working purpose.

50% of car trips was used by male for work as opposed to under 40% of this by female. Similarly, there was a difference between the genders of about 5% in both visiting town and recreation with more men's percentage of car trips than female's (around 10% and approximately 5% for two purposes respectively).

On the other hand, a difference of about half was evident in visiting friends, running errands and going to bank where more or less 10% of car trips was by women. Female also used mor cars than male for shopping (under 15% and under 10% respectively) and courses (less than 20% and 10% respectively).
