The two maps describe how the layout of a museum changed between 2010 and 2012.
Overall, by 2012, the way to enter to the museum had been changed from the West to the south. The largest change occurred to the permanent exhibition space which occupied almost half of the entire area.
In 2010, next to the main entrance was the toilets, behind which were the visiting exhibition space and the permanent exhibition space respectively. There were two areas behind the permanent exhibition space: the staff area and the storage one.
In 2012, despite the toilets staying intact, the space right behind the 2010's main entrance was taken up by a shop. The visiting exhibition space was removed to the West of the museum to pave way for the significant expansion of the permanent exhibition space whose size went up by approximately 120% after 2 years. It was also the area which could be seen from the outside, because in front of it was the new entrance. The staff area and the storage area in the West of the museum were reduced to an equal size, and they were placed at two opposite corners to leave enough space for the visiting exhibition space in the middle.
