The line graph depicts the expenditure of UK inhabitants on visits overseas from 1993 to 2013.

From a brief inspection, with respect to holiday and visiting friends or relatives, they were almost on the rise during the time frame, while miscellaneous and commercial visits undergone slight change.

With regard to people who enjoyed their holiday in other countries, the number was 9 billions in 1993, 4 times as much as people paying visit to their intimates or their relations. abroad holiday continued to gain momentum, and it reached its peak in 2008, with over 25 billions people, nearly tripled the initial number. Strikingly, it lost its popularity, and decreased to roughly 22 billions in the next year. Both the number of people going on foreign trips and that of people visiting their confidants or their family remained stable between 2009 and 2012; subsequently, they showed signs of rising again.

Concerning the number of UK dwellers going on business or miscellaneous trips, despite in familiar fashion, the former were always higher than the latter. With 2,5 billions people respectively going on business trip from the start, doubled the number of sundry trips, the number was equal to friends or relatives visit trips from 2009 to 2011.
