Topic: Nowadays. children watch TV more than they did in the past, what are the reasons, solutions?

In recent years, the problem of children getting addicted to television has been receiving a great deal of public attention. Although this trend can be attributed to a whole host of reasons, several feasible solutions can be taken into account.

There are a number of reasons to explain why kids more often watch TV. First, since TV programs provide various attractive contents, like visual effects and sound effects, their curiosity can be triggered. Therefore, Children tend to binge-watch every day. Second, By doing work and earning money most of the time to meet the living standard, parents pay less attention to their children. This means that children have no choice in taking part in outdoor f activities for mental rewards, either playing sports or having a talk with the parent, which make them be reliant to watching TV.

There are some feasible solutions to address this problem. First, in order to change children’s watching habit, some physical activities like team building, camping or playing sports need to be promoted and be more attractive, which help them join in active entertainment activities instead of staying all day in front of the TV screen. Second, by interacting face to face with children every day such as reading to them, playing the game and physical activities, which plays an essential role in children’s development without resorting to watching TV. For example, Children aged two-six, who spent much time in watching TV, more likely to associate with poorer language skills than other once, which point out that talking with children is far more important than permitting them to watch TV by themselves.

In conclusion, Watching TV is likely to attribute to some drawbacks in children, which can be addressed by several feasible solutions. By raising more attractive physical activities, communicating with children, which will help them get far away with the Tv screen.
