Please check my grammer

I am appealing the Canada student loan over awards because I have had difficulties in the fall semester 2008 to obtain satisfactory mark in Introduction to marketing course. Therefore, I am repeating this course now in the fall semester 2009 because the grade I have achieved in 2008 doesn’t permit me to purse another course for which the graded course was a prerequisite.
