Please, check my grammar in this little quiz, it would help me a lot.

1. What is a stereotype?
That’s what I called prejudice and chauvinism. It is judging somebody before knowing her/him, based on appearance, ethnic group, gender, age, sexual orientation, what you may have heard, watched in movies, or read in books or media.
2. What examples can you give from the text?
Many people think that all Muslims are terrorist, blonds and Americans are stupid, Jewish people are greedy, women are vulnerable victims, girls and gay people bad at sports etc. It’s just nonsense of course.
3. Are stereotypes useful in our everyday life?
I don’t think so. It’s just demonstrate your narrow mind in decent company and could be encouraged only among uncivilized people. I don’t think saying that sort of ideas could help you or bring some benefits, it’s just hurting people around you. Well, at least if you’re not in a company of some marginal racist skinheads (not every bald person is a skinhead, by the way).
4. Do you have any stereotypes?
I’m trying to not have anything like this in my mind, I prefer to make my own opinion on everything. Probably because I know how it feels like, when someone judge you like that. When you are atheist, vegetarian, feminist, liberal and rationalistic woman you’ve become a hate object for many many strangers. Even being Russian nowadays is a reason of lots weird questions from foreigners. It’s really annoying when you have to offer excuses, justify yourself before people you just met. I’ve been in lots of situations where I have to explain people feminists are not “hate men”, atheists are not live in dull, cold world, but find the world beautiful and miraculous too, that not every Russian intolerant homophobic alcoholic and vegetarians are not dying without protein and “irreplaceable meat vitamins”. It’s the most annoying thing of all, actually, once you said that you don’t eat meat at the table and everyone around you suddenly become doctors of medicine and you became dirty hippie, who would like to live in the middle of the wood and hate progress. Then you of course trying to say, that vegans love progress like nobody, because it’s what help people stop exploit animals, we have imitation leather and fur, soya products and all you need, but nobody care anymore, you have been labeled. So yeah, I know what it’s like, I’m the walking set of tags which people put on me every time.
