Please check my grammar and the use of "Please advise"

i just wanted to follow up with you on the email I sent last month regarding the XYZ 2016 budget. Please advise.

It's customary to remind the person briefly about the purpose of your earlier email. Instead of simply 'Please advise', say eg Please advise me if you have any comments. eg Please let me have the data as soon as possible.
