please check my grammar

hello!

i know everyone here is so helpful. Forgive my ignorance, but could you tell me what should be the proper verb to use in the following:

1) Half the number of votes (was/were) counted accordingly.

2) All (is/are) excited to watch the football game.

3) All the actors (is/are) going to stage.

3) What she got (was/were) a number of good friends.

4) A number of students (has/have) gone to the museum.

5) three-forths of the pie (is/are) mine.

what i meant about the sentence? the first sentence was that if the votes where 1,000 .. half of it (500) where counted accordingly based from, let's say, the proper counting method, unlike th other half (500) which did not undergo the same process.

I wonder if there's a case for saying 2) should be 'is'...

All is plural. Therefore, it cannot be "is".
