Some people say that social networking is damaging teenagers’ social skills. I completely agree with this statement. Nowadays, era 4.0 develops, this means that social networking is growing day by day.

First, social networking prevents teenagers from communicating with the outside world. Social media makes people stay at home more, the communicative skill is gradually lost. For example, if you stay at home only to surf Facebook for a long time, you will not want to go outside and communicate with everybody.

Second, listening skills are also damaged by social networking. Social media such as Facebook, Youtube make people leave the outside life and not know how to listen to others. Listening skills play an important part in our society, you can receive a lot of advice, information and also gain the trust of others.

Third, not only harms social networking listening skills but also harms teenagers’ respect skills. Social media makes people left out, only think for themself. The respect is gradually lost, people are easily angry and bad-tempered. Respect skills, which are one of the most important skills one must have, can help you make friends and succeed in studying.

In conclusion, the more developed era 4.0, the more damaged social networking. Social skills such as listening, communicating, or respect are gradually harmed more by social media.
