“Scientific inventions are making our life happier”. To what extent do you agree with this statement? Write at least 200 words to support your ideas. (2.5 pts)

One of the most popular statements which are often said: “Scientific inventions are making our life happier”. I completely agree with this statement. Science today has given us such comforts as it was unimaginable years ago.

First, scientific inventions made traveling easier and more efficient. As you've seen in the 90s, 80s, people must transport by bike, cyclo,... but in the present, a lot of new transports were born such as motorbike, car, plane,... to make life easier. For example, in Vietnam, several decades ago, bicycles were worth up to a gold tree, and they were issued with ownership certificates, number plates and kept as treasures in the house. Currently, the country has more than 46.5 million motorbikes, on average, there is 1 motorbike for every 2 Vietnamese people.

Second, scientific inventions made communication simpler and more sufficient. In the past, if people wrote a letter to ask about someone, people must wait and see for two weeks. But now, you just need a few minutes to give an excuse about someone only by the phone. Not only can the phone communicate with someone but also it can receive the news information quickly.

In conclusion, our life is being made to be happier by scientific inventions.
