TOPIC: Many people say that universities should only offer places to young students with highest marks, others say they should accept people with all ages, even if they did not do well at school. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

The vast development of education offers wide-range options for students depending on their educational levels. Regarding to this point, many individuals are of the opinion that universities are the favorable places for those who achieve the remarkable academic performances. While another school of thought is that the tertiary education should be widely opened to all ages even they do not gain well educational attainments. In my following paragraph, I shall put forth my viewpoints before forming conclusion.

To start with, universities’ environments require students with outstanding scholastic backgrounds as the comprehensive coverage of terminological knowledge is hardly acquired. Moreover, on no accounts can students, without the fundamental knowledge, continue educating in universities. It is a common sight that there has been a lot of youths who end up their universities’ lives as they cannot afford the intense studying which seems to be a waste of money and time to continue the courses without any achievement.

On the other hand, the aim of education is preventing the incidence of unemployment which targeting not only the youths but also the adults. Admittedly, the combination of hands-on experiences and deeper understandings in terminologies help laborers access to the variety of prospective jobs, as well as get further promotions. In addition, there been the expansion of universities’ system which provides the tertiary education with varying levels. For instance, in current stage, the academic levels are evaluated by examinations; as a result, it is more convenient for students to choose their suitable universities.

To conclude, I am more convinced by the view that the university should be widely attended by everyone. However, there is a requirement of fundamental academic knowledge as well as finishing the school-based programs before participating in tertiary education
