Hi teachers, could you please proofread my essay about the similarities and differences between Shakespeare's three plays: Richard iii, king Lear and the tragedy of Macbeth?

Here is my essay:

Political disruption was a common feature of the political regimes of the medieval ages, which Shakespeare's plays like Richard iii portray. Unlike the honest politicians of this nowadays, politicians' morality at that time was not valuable and honored, so some politicians like Richard iii tended to hide their reality from people to make people sympathize with them. Also, deception was a common element for politicians to in order to establish their crowns and win people at their sides. Another common feature of those kings is their concern and interest in prophecies which were important in deciding their future. While politicians in these plays have some common features between them, each has his illegal ways of gaining power and ruling his country.

Firstly, Richard iii was a cunning and deceptive politician who tended to look as a weak person in order to win people 's sympathy. We can find this in the play when he is talking about his appearance "deformed, unfinished and sent before my time". However, he hidden under this deformity a great deception which we can notice from his plan to put his two brothers at war against each other in order to reach the crown and become a king. Like kings of that time, Richard iii believed in prophesies and was afraid of one that says that someone whose name begins with the letter 'G' will destroy his crown. This king was not only deceptive, but also flatterer who can play with words to reach his goals. For example, he replied to Anne's angry speech with flattery "more wonderful, when angles are so angry". Finally, he admitted that he is wicked and so clever because he was able to win lady Anne at his side.

Secondly, king Lear is another king who favored praise over reality and flattery over true love. He managed to divide his kingdom based on sweet talk and untrue love. He gave more land for his daughters who showed purposed and hyperbolic love, and when the young one, Gordelia, expressed how much she loves him without hyperbolism, he gave her nothing. However, her sisters turned out to be manipulative and deceptive to get more fortunes, and later on, they admitted their exploitation for their father's foolishness and superficiality. King Lear's superficiality appears in the play through his dealing with his young daughter who loves him the most by forcing her to marry any duke without any dowry. Further, he was shallow-minded when he left his daughter for the unknown. Finally, as appears in the play, Regan and Goneril abandoned their father and Gordelia stayed with him in his weakness and sunset.

Finally, the tragedy of Macbeth is a play affected so much by the witches' prophecies. Like Richard iii, Macbeth was consumed by the witches' prophesies and believed so deeply in them that he began acting on them; not waiting them to become true. However, Macbeth was reluctant to kill the king, Duncan, but his wife's continuous urging lead him to kill Duncan and usurp his crown. Macbeth was Richard iii in his tendency to manipulate people in order to get what he wants from them. Unlike king Lear, some natural mysterious events had taken place in this play like the owl that killed a falcon. In addition, deception was a common theme in this play like when Macbeth fooled the attendants at his house and blamed Duncan's servants for his murder.

In conclusion, Shakespeare's three plays shared some features among them like untruth, superficiality and deception. Also, Macbeth and Richard iii talk about crown usurpation and murdering royal people. However, king Lear was a play with less violence, but full of untruth and hyperbolism. By portraying the rulers of the medieval ages in a passive way, Macbeth expressed his opinion of the rulers of that time and unmasked them. These plays can be described as a live description of that time.

You mean Shakespeare, not Macbeth.
