A glance at the graph provided reveals average property values between those on the market and those sold in Sometown during the period of 2005. It is evident that both figures saw considerable fluctuations in real estate prices, with lows in September.
Increasing from precisely 300,000 dollars in July to approximately 305,000 dollars in August, house prices on the market then plunged to exactly 290000 dollars in both September and October. This was followed by a period of exponential growth with a steady climb to somewhere in the vicinity of 310.000 dollars in December.
The sold out housing prices, meanwhile, declined steadily from 335000 dollars in July to 320000 dollars in September. After a month, this rate saw a considerable increase, equal to July. The following 2 months saw a rapid fall in this rate, which was recorded similarly to September.
In conclusion, there was a significant difference between the asking and selling prices. However, the gap between the two narrowed at the end of this period.
