It is also noticeable that annual consumption of meat is highest in USA and lowest in Japan.
According to the data, the largest consumer is USA, where more than 120 kg of meat is consumed by average American each year. Germany is the second largest consumer, with just under 90 kg per person. Only two other countries- France and Norway- consumed more than 50 kg per capita, while the average consumption of meat in Russia, China and Japan are 45,47 and 42 kg respectively.
In the other hand, figure for coffee consumption in Norway doubles the annual consumption of coffee in US, with 60 kg of meat per person. French and Russian consumed the same amount of coffee with 5 kg per capita. By contrast, figures for China and Japan are relatively small, with 2 and 3 kg per person respectively.
