Topic:

Some organisations believe that their employees should dress smartly. Others value quality of work above appearance.

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

In the twenty first century, while several companies think that their workers should have smart style dress, other corporations believe that employees’ performance is overweigh appearance. From my point of view, I vehemently concur with dress smartly.

On the one hand, some organisations really pay attention to their officers’ appearance such as banks, hospitals, and restaurants, so on. Because their employees have to work directly with customers; thus, first impression is extremely essential. Only by wearing a beautiful outfit can staffs attract customers. Moreover, it also brings pleasure for buyers, and shows a profession of companies. Additionally, thanks to uniforms, consumers can easily recognize organisations which labor works for. As a result, the corporations could build their brand awareness in buyer’s mind. Smart style dress not only impresses customers but also markets corporations’ brand.

On the other hand, several companies concentrate on people’s performance. Design organisations, for instance, have not to work directly with consumers. Designers only work with products, then they can wear comfortable outfits namely T-shirt or blazer, so forth. Moreover, making uniform for workers leads to increasing cost of company. Employees need to expense on many categories such as design, product, and delivery. If general outfit is not glamour, officers will not suit it, which results in wasting including money and time. Therefore, there are much value quality of work higher than appearance.

In conclusion, depending on what kind of organizations’ business, employees need to dress smartly or wear comfortable. But I think workers should regard to their appearance.
