Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Primary students should attend classes all day.

Nowadays, whether primary students should attend classes all day or not has aroused people's discussion. Personally, I completely disagree this view because of its adverse effects on children.
There are several reasons why I do not support that primary students should spend all day studying at school. First, since students have to learn too many new things at school, they are too tired or mentally exhausted to concentrate, making the extra class time ineffective. In fact, many students might not be mentally prepared to take on an additional hour of classwork or are fatigued or even fall asleep during class time if they are too tired to concentrate. Second, spending too much time on studying at school can also have negative effects on health. Students who work all day at school are more likely to develop health and mental problems, such as depression, sleep deprivation and so on.
Moreover, by spending too much time studying at school, students could have to do much more homework. This means that students have little free time or no free time at all to unwind after school, which could lead students to resent school and lose interest and motivation. Although the time for studying at school plays a crucial role in education for students, attending classes all day makes students feel stressed and burnt out. Therefore, they need more time to relax such as playing games, listening to music, playing sports and so on or take part in social activities. These activities not only make a contribution towards honing students' necessary soft skills such as interpersonal skills, teamwork skills but also help them become healthier and more active.
In conclusion, for the reasons I have mentioned above. I strongly believe that it makes more sense for students to strike balance between studying and relaxing rather than only studying all day at school.
