My Essay:

With technical advancement and internet, information sources have diversified in which they are no longer confined to printed books and newspapers. As a result, some people believe that newspapers and books are outdated.

On one hand, e-books and newspapers became available online. Students, for instance, don not have to buy printed educational books that contain more than 600 pages because, they can download them on their gadgets or buy them from electronic libraries and study from them. Thus, it makes them available in hand all times and easy to carry.

On the other hand, people think that printed books and newspapers are a waste of money. As long as they are available online, the money that spent on printing them should be used in other resources that benefit people.

In my view, I always believe that printed newspapers are a waste of money. Therefore, I agree to confine them to the e-newspapers. But I disagree about considering printed books outdated. No matter what, I do not think that printed books will ever lose their significance even if they become less. Even though e-books are available online but sometimes you could not find a certain book. Moreover, spending too much time reading or studying from electronic devices are harmful in a way the can contribute to digital eye strain. In addition, it is noticeable that some students prefer studying from printed books. Although they have the e-educational material but they still print certain topics and make notes. So printing always active in educational institutes particularly. Consequently I see that people should employ both of the printed and electronic books to their advantage.

In conclusion,despite of the big technical advancement in information resources, printed books would never lose their significance.
