Bad News

Relationships and communications are very important in our life. Friends and relatives have an important role when we encounter with bad news.

Five years ago, when I was a 26 years old man and married, I was quality control technician in a printery that have printed the newspaper. The printery was a large area with low light without the sun. There were many machines, and each machine had an operator. All operators had communicating with each other constantly. One day before the end of 2009, I was working on a printer device, because it didn’t work well. that day, everyone else except me and one of my coworkers, who I had trouble with him it before was not in the factory, the phone of factory rang, The phone rang like a weather forecaster announcing a flash flood. I answered it. On the phone was my coworker’s family member that had bad news for him. He said, my coworker’s father is deceased, and asked me to inform him. It was very difficult but I had to do it.

He was working on the machine. Because of high activity, the sweat on his forehead was clear.It was like rain drop on glass. I went toward him. He thought that I would argue, and conflict with him about the difficulties that we were together again. Informing has been difficult. First, I got close to him with a smile, and said hello, and then, I apologized him about previous problems offhand. He was surprised. Also, he was smiling, looks like some bud that was turning to flower. he also welcomed. Then, I said, you can count on me in your problems. He was very happy. Then, Moments later, I told him the adventure of his father's death gradually. When heard, started to cry, and threw himself on my shoulders. I hugged him, and invited to tranquility. I told him that his father is in heaven right now, and watch you, and you should not cry if you want to calm him, also death is for all human beings. After a few minutes sympathy and talking, he was calmer, and got along easier with his father's death.

I learned from this experience that develop a sense of empathy and having more closer with acquaintances and close friends shall be tolerable The news of traumatic event to humans.

In the world of today, communication with friends and acquaintances play an important role, and can be tolerable many of our problems and mishaps by development them. Also, after this experience, I decided that I should be more affectionate with people.
