Please check my essay

I have been going to coach class for my English class, however, all my teacher tells me is that I have too much summery and need to analyse the text. I have been trying to write my essay over again for about 3 hours, and i'm not sure if I have it. Please help.

Non-fiction novelists are presumed to record the authenticity of what really took place, however, the author can control what the readers interpret from the novel. Capote’s In Cold Blood, does not let the readers to know the truth of a cold blooded murderer. In an article,Charles Mcatee, a prison director, provides the reader the actuality of the murderer’s identity.
Capote drives the reader into having a connection with Perry, to feel sympathy; compassion towards him. Capote had detected himself in Perry, a homosexual man, who people just don’t understand. Capote had chosen to show which feelings of the reader to pick up on, controlling the reader’s emotional state throughout the book. Perry’s apology was Capote’s last effort to thrust the feeling of pity; empathy, for Perry.
