Everyone loves to have beautiful memories from their childhood or school years.But in life exists a period which makes us become adults. Personally, I agree with the statement given. 'The college years are the best time in a person's life'.This is the period when you gain more knowledge and learn how to be independent.It prepares you for what you will face in this life and also for what you want to do.
First, in college you make new friends. In your local high school you just see the same persons during all these years, but when you go to college you meet new people. Furthermore, you get to know persons from other coutries or cities. For example, if you go to study abroad you will definitely meet people from different cultures and coutries. You will have the change to learn more about their culture, vision and rituals. Maybe you will go to visit one of your new collegues in his country during the vacation time.
Second, when someone goes to college, more probably wil have to move to other city or country. This means that he or she won't be close to his or her family. This can be o good thing because you learn how to do things by yourself. For instance, someone who didn't know how to cook, now he will be obliged to learn how to feed himself. Also, he hill have to pay the bills, go to shopping and make many decisions alone without his family near.
Third, the college years are the years when you prepare for a career. In high school you learn the things you needed for an exam, but now you will be trained to become a professional in what you will do in the future. For example, a student who in high shool learned about various things which many of them won't help him in his career, now he will study and prepare specific for the choosen career.
In conclusion, I believe that the college years are the best time in a person's life due to its development. Therefor, I recommend everyone to go to college because they will find out much more things about themselves and what they can do. And also, for the beautiful memories that a student can achieve and won't forget them.
