Topic: Today, more school leavers are unable to find jobs. Discuss the causes of rising unemployment among young adults and suggest any solutions.
A large number of students find it difficult to get occupations after leaving schools. This phenomenon could be attributed to several factors, but still some steps could be implemented to solve this problem.
First and foremost, the reason for many young adults are unemployed is due to the skill mismatch. More specifically, millions of young people out of school are ready to work, but the companies they apply for need skills these people do not get. In addition, numerous school leavers with advanced degrees find themselves overqualified for their jobs. Secondly, this issue is also owing to students' lack of necessary life skills such as cooperative skill. As a result, they would have trouble in working with their colleagues, which leads to these labours' intention of quiting their jobs.
There are two effective solutions to the problem of unemployed young adults. One way to mitigate this is to ensure that school curriculums are more focused on vocational training and skill teaching. By doing this, it will make students equipped with necessary skills for their jobs as well as their lives. Another measure of dealing with this issue is to amend economy policy in direction of encouraging young people to start up by lending money from a range of support such as crowfunding sites, banks and so on. Not only would this solution hopefully decrease the rate of unemployment but it also develop the country's economy.
In conclusion, appropriate training programmes and changes in policy are effective in tackling the issue.
