Last summer I had the pleasure to participate in an activity holiday organized by the “OPERA” tour operator. I and my boyfriend went to explore uncharted landscapes in Lombardy, Italy, in the surroundings of Como. I am writing this review in order to share my experience and simultaneously suggest and recommend these breathtaking places and our trustworthy tour operator.

Before taking the trip, we were based in Milan to enjoy a rapid visit to the town. According to the advice of our tour operator, we rented a car and drove straight forward Cornizzolo, in close proximity to Como. The staff who served us at the rental agency was very friendly and willing to help. No sooner we arrived at the “Santa Maria” hotel, we were heartily greeted by a gentle middle-aged woman, who kindly showed us the room and all the facilities.

After a brief rest, we went backpacking through the wonderful natural beauty of this place and we prepared to climb a small group of mountains, known as “Corni of Canzo”. Our professional trainer provided us with an equipment of high quality that made us feeling fully confident and safe. He was very patient and had a gift to share his knowledge and experience with us. The view from the top was fairly unexpected, I didn’t believe that visiting our Country would have been so exciting. Coming back to the hotel, we decided to have dinner. The food was delicious and hearty as expected, they served us delightful specialities, but I cannot forget the greedy “Focaccia with Toma”, fluffy bread with a crunchy coast, gooey melted cheese and very tempting aroma.

If you are looking for a good activity holiday in Italy, I recommend OPERA as a tour operator, you definitely won't regret any dollar and I am ready to bet that you would be fully satisfied.
